K1LADEX ("K1LADEX," "we," "our," or "us") operates k1ladex.com (the "Site") and app.k1ladex.com (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the Site or App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service:
- Usage data: Ticker symbols entered into the scan engine, scan frequency, and general usage patterns. This data is not tied to your identity.
- Scan count: A scan counter is stored in your browser's
sessionStorage (localStorage fix pending). This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. - Payment information: If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs that data.
- Email address: If you subscribe via Stripe, we may receive your email address to deliver access credentials and service communications. If you contact us by email, we retain your address to respond to your inquiry.
- Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamps) may be retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require account creation to use the free tier.
- We do not collect your name, address, or phone number unless you voluntarily provide them.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any data with third parties for advertising purposes.
- We do not use tracking pixels or third-party advertising networks.
Cookies and Local Storage
The App uses browser sessionStorage (localStorage fix pending) to store your free scan count and session state. No tracking cookies are set by K1LADEX. If you use a third-party payment link (Stripe), Stripe may set cookies governed by their policy.
Third-Party Services
The App fetches live market data from third-party providers including Finnhub and Finviz. When the App requests data on your behalf, your query (the ticker symbol) is transmitted to those services. Review Finnhub's and Finviz's privacy policies for their data handling practices.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. K1LADEX does not store payment card data.
How We Use Information
- To operate and improve the scan engine and scoring system
- To respond to support inquiries
- To detect and prevent abuse or fraud
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
Data Retention
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Email correspondence is retained until you request deletion. Scan data is not retained beyond the current session at the server level.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing K1LADEX@k1ladex.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of any data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were made. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
